Hello! :)

I have been playing around with custom menu items under the Customize Start Menu tab, and have tried adding a shortcut that has been set to "Run - Maximized" (in the shortcut settings).

When I add the shortcut under "Link" in the custom item, it gets converted into the proper path and name of the program itself (which is fine), but the problem I have is that the program doesn't open in a Maximized window anymore.

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere to enable the Custom menu item to open a program in a Maximized window?

Thankyou!

Kaz.

What exactly are you adding in the "Link" field of the custom item? Please post your settings/items XML here (you can save an XML using the Backup button in Settings) or show a screenshot.

You should be adding <full path to shortcut.lnk> in the Link field. Then whatever properties are set on the shortcut (Run as admin, run minimized/maximized) should work.

Thank you thats done the trick!

I was clicking on the "..." box to the far right of the "Link" field, and navigating to the <shortcut.lnk> file, then clicking "Select File". The link field would then auto change to the full path and full program name.

But actually typing in the <full path to shortcut.lnk> manually as you suggested works!

Thank you so much for your help! :)

Kaz.
