V 4.2.1 (64) puts the recently used programs, with an item number, on top of the menu. How can I prevent this? I've spent hours on the settings, but can't find the fix.

in classic shell settings, there is a search box at top of settings window. type in it 'recent pro' it should be the second result labeled: Show recent programs on top. uncheck it.
If you dont want recent programs at all, set the first result (Max recent programs) to 0

Thanks very much, Jcee. That did it! I never noticed the search option in settings; makes this tool even better.
