Hi, I pinned a short-cut to the start menu, it leads to a folder located on a certain drive that now has a new letter assigned to it.

I would like to delete the short cut, but when I right-click on it, instead of showing me the regular options, it just gives me an error message telling me that the drive is not available. Thus I can't delete it in the usual way.
How to delete this useless shortcut?

See if the Del key works.

Right-click on the start button and select "Open". It will open the start menu folder in Explorer. See if your shortcut is there and delete it.
If you don't see it there, try this folder: %APPDATA%\ClassicShell\Pinned
