well I would suggest prodding around with the new windows 7 style as its where 90% of new changes are focused, thats if you feel like it

To test the install process, I installed the beta over the stable version. After detecting that explorer was still running, and offering to close, the beta was unable to close explorer. I selected to continue using the reboot option, and the install completed - but left a "blue screen". No icons, taskbar or reboot options. PC was rebooted manually and ok is running fine [DELL XPS13, 8gb RAM, 256SSD, Win8x64) Are there any particular features / configuartions you would like verified ? cheers .... |

New features in 4.0 are true Windows 7 style, Windows Search integration (test its efficiency), the Frequently Used Programs list (see if they are indeed your MFU programs), highlighting of newly installed programs, pinning from context menu and a different way to skip the Start screen. |

I was able to install this beta version over 3.6.7 with no issues so far and kept my settings. I just wish I could get my task bar to match the menu in color better. |
