HIIIII Friends, I am uploading my custom made 'Flying Kiss Lady' Start Button for you guys.....

there are two sizes....small & a bit large....
if you need a different size, simply open the larger image in any image processing program [like faststone image viewer] lock the aspect ratio & resize it.....after that save it in .png format...............

please check following check box while applying this button--

*go to start menu settings..
*click on 'start button' tab...
*now check the box "align to corner of the screen".....

it gives the best fit to this button.....

you can save the .png images by right click on them......

Enjoy......& please comment..........

This reminds me of being on XP. First Microsoft had music dancers,
I think in Plus, that would show up at the taskbar.
Then came conversing robots from other sites.
Another site was promoting naked dancers,
that would rise out of taskbar. Very professional, not crude.
Could probably be done as an animated start button.

I'll skip stuff like this though, thanks anyway.

Thanks for the comment 'juniper7'.......i was just trying to make some different & entertaining start buttons which are not boring. The classic shell is highly customizable and everyone should make use of this ability. I really want to make some 'animated start buttons' but can't figure out how to animate some 15 or 30 frames.........how to add that single line of coloured pixels on top of that image???.........which software should i use 'photoshop' or 'Coraldraw' ?????........i am looking forward for some guidance..................Thanks once again :)

Personally I'd recommend paint.NET , but I know some people here would probably disagree...

EDIT: I should note that while paint.NET is an excellent image editor, it requires this plugin: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/t ... -paintnet/ to export BMPs with transparency. (It exports them with the extension "BMPX", so you'll need to rename them. Workflow is a bit awkward at times, but it's worth it IMO, for all the power paint.NET provides. Also, speaking of transparency, this may help you edit it: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/t ... plugin-20/ )

Preferably any photo program that can zoom in enough to alter each pixel.
One that can work with, and export a transparent .png or transparent 32 bit alpha bitmap image.
Program needs to have a color picker, so exact pixel value can be set.
A pixel measurement ruler is handy too.

Practically any Adobe image editor should work. Paint.Net, Gimp, PaintShopPro.
Splitwirez has his Paint.Net. Jcee with Gimp. Ivo-Adobe, Gaurav -?, others-?

My favorite barebones editor is PixelFormer.
It can zoom in up to 6400%, making it easy to adjust the pixel line at top.
Adding an additional 1 pixel horizontal line should be easy in any program.
