Nobody here is going to make a skin which has already been made. And I'm not talking about the stock one. I'm talking about WIN7LIKE.

As others have mentioned in the past,
making a skin to match color/transparency of 8/8.1
makes the menu too hard to read for most people.
It is too transparent. When a user has white pages behind, it's really hard to read.
There are always people out there who want it exact, maybe someone else can make it.
In the past I've made some very transparent menu skins.
They are somewhat useless, to actually work on the computer.:)
I'm too busy doing other thingamajiggys, sorry.

From the looks of your screenshot, it just has a solid color,(no transparency).
Should be easy for someone to make, even you could try.

Have you tried this skin? Winaero Skin 2.0: http://winaero.com/blog/get-the-best-lo ... -skin-2-0/ I had made it to match the taskbar color on Windows 8.1 as much as possible with both opaque and transparent options.

I am wrong. Actually there is a little transparency in the picture.

Tomorrow night I will adjust the color mask on Win8 skin to bring it more in line with taskbar.
I don't think a perfect match is achievable, though.
If color intensity is not default, or auto color is on, it is not going to track properly.

Yes Gaurav, Winaero or Start8. Only problem I don't think they are Win7 style.

Actually I made the Winaero skin (it's just a few adjustments to color mask, padding, and an installer which tweaks the Classic Shell registry settings for transparent option or opaque option). The opaque Start Menu color should match the opaque taskbar color on Windows 8.1 at least.

Windows 10, I made this skin: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=4934 but I don't really care any more about Windows 10. :P It's too much pain for no gain.

I forgot how good Gaurav's Skin was, especially on opaque setting.
Those registry tweaks made magic.

I'm still going to release my version of Ivo's Win 8 skin.
Code name "Mr Milky". World name "Win 8 alpha" [7 style]
This one works better with Windows auto color off.
For when it's on, it darkened menu too much.

I find it's really hard to make opacity,
menu brightness, and glass color match exactly to taskbar.
I switched to pure alpha transparency (more linear, but more milky look).

Settings
Windows color intensity on default
CSM Overide glass color off

or
Windows color intensity on default
CSM Overide glass color on
Menu glass color default
Menu glass intensity default
Menu color blending around 20

If windows auto color is turned on, these settings will brighten menu a little.
CSM Overide glass color on
Menu glass color default
Menu glass intensity default
Menu color blending around 65

Skin has an intermediate opacity setting of about 85 percent.
Set taskbar opacity to 85 to match.

notes
There is a bit of an oddity with setting taskbar opacity to 85.
If windows color is changed, taskbar still stays old color.
Just reset to opaque, and then back again. :)

Also skin is for Win 8.1, not Win 10.
Won't match in Win 10, because taskbar is darker.

Oh my Gawd!!! This skin is fantastic juniper7. The More Transparent option perfectly suits the default Windows 8.1 taskbar transparency. You've done a great job again!! Thank you! :P
