Here is the "Windows Basic" skin for Classic Start Menu in the Windows 7 style (and with the correct size of font etc). Currently, we have only Windows Basic.skin shipping as part of Classic Shell so here is Windows Basic.skin7.
Ivo made it by changing the Opacity= parameters to region (from glass or fullglass) and making alpha channel for the background bitmaps only black and white, no grays.
The "Basic" skin is for use with Aero but with glass transparency turned off from Personalization Control Panel -> Window Color and Appearance.
