I love windows XP due to HyperTerminal functionality to log into routers and other corporate Equipment and save the settings as an icon on my desktop. Is there HyperTerminal functionality like in Windows XP? Can it be added? |

The HyperTerminal program was licensed from another company by Microsoft for inclusion in Windows XP. That company later released a free version of HyperTerminal 6.3 to patch some security issue, which you can download here: http://www.oldversion.com/windows/hyper ... dition-6-3 and later a commercial version 7 at http://www.hilgraeve.com/.
