Another annoying thing of windows 10, which classic shell might correct...
I have a long list of files. At the bottom, I delete a file. File explorer moves the selection to the parent directory, so I have to scroll down again to get where I was...
I a very old version of windows, deleting a file would simple move the selection to the next file, which is much more intuitive, and is much better in line in what you are doing...
I understand this is not a classic shell problem, but maybe classic shell might offer a solution.

Classic Shell cannot fix anything in the files pane of Explorer (the one which shows files and folders). It can only do some minor fixes to the navigation pane (the one with only folders).

Are you talking about the folder pane of Explorer or the files pane? Which view of Explorer are you using?
