After being mildly irritated by the hover animation for the default Windows 8 start button, I finally decided to get around to replacing it with a version of the Windows 7 start button posted on the forums here. I'm now being slightly less irritated by that button's hover animation. I'd love to have a way to just disable hover animations entirely, simply showing the button as unpressed or pressed. Since it's a custom button I suppose I could just edit it to replace all of the hover frames with the image from the idle frame, but having some sort of toggle in the options to not display the animation at all would be much more convenient. |

You can use an animated button to use the same frame for all states .-. |

Since it is possible easily with a custom button, an option does not make sense. |
