Hello. I am tired of having to open a program pinned to the task bar, and it doesnt stay on that icon, but moves over to the end of the pinned icons. I have google searched this issue, and cant find anything on how to turn it back to essentianlly the XP days. So, feature request? Or does anyone have any idea how to fix this, and have it persist across updates? BTW: Hello all! New here.  TIA |

Well, I finally locked the taskbar and unchecked something else, and ALL of the pinned icons now stay where they are, and when you launch them, the newly opened program no longer goes down to the end of the row, EXCEPT FireFox. FF is the only one that will not comply. Thanks! Will try out that app.

lol if classic shell becomes a real shell one day i would never use 7+ taskbar tweaker and the other patchworks to windows explorer that i must have to make sense out of win10 |
