May I know if there are any plans to implement Windows 10 menu features in Classic shell? I used Windows 10 for a while but went back to Windows 7 because it is too much of a hassle to keep updating it. But I did like how it let you create your own wall of favorite apps neatly labeled. I miss that in Windows 7. are there any plans to expand the Classic shell to add Windows 10-like pinning? |

You can already pin anything to the Start Menu by dragging it over the Start button, wait for the Classic menu to open and drop it in the pinned area. Or you can right click shortcuts or EXEs and choose "Pin to Start Menu (Classic Shell)". See this trick to organize items into groups: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3403 Although the space is limited vertically in the Classic menu to pin a large number of items without reducing the items shown in the Recent/Frequent list. |
