I'm trying out 8.1 in a virtual machine for a possible upgrade from 7. I'm using Glass8, Classic shell, Taskbar tweaker, QT tab bar, Oldnew explorer. I want to have a blurry aero taskbar. I donwloaded "taskbar blur toggle" and it works, however on restart is's not applied, I have to do it manually. Maybe something is interfering with all those programs. Is it possible this option is added in Classic shell for Windows 8, like it has been for Windows 10? |

Classic Shell already has that feature on Windows 8, it's just labelled "Opaque", likely because it does in fact make the Taskbar opaque if Aeroglass 8.1+ is not installed. But if you do have Aeroglass 8.1+, you'll get a nice glassy blur effect instead. |

Ohh I see now. Thanks! It's a bit confusing. It was not working because I changed the colour, apparently it has to be on the default value. |
