I would like to have a synchronization of the subject with the registry:
[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer]
AltColor : REG_BINARY = 0xRR 0xGG 0xBB 0x00 - compressed
AltEncryptedColor : REG_BINARY = 0xRR 0xGG 0xBB 0x00 - encrypted

What is it that you want? The color of compressed and encrypted files cannot be changed in Explorer starting with Windows Vista (and all later versions including Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 10). It was only possible on Windows XP with TweakUI.

Strangely, the color changes in the navigation pane (folder tree)

That's because it uses a different older control which supports that.
