This is actually a request for changing an absolutely annoying feature of windows explorer by doing it better in classic explorer :-)
The width of the columns is never right. The hot key ctrl-shift-num+ does an automatic resizing based on the files visible at that moment. I use this key combination so often and wonder why there is no way to do this automatically

I wrote a simple AutoHotkey script for this that sends the Ctrl+Shift+num+ keystokes. I compiled the AHK script into an EXE. You can add it as a button on the Classic Explorer toolbar via Custom Command. Script attached. When the EXE is run and you are in Details view, it will resize the columns.
