Whenever I delete an empty folder, I have to make sure it is really empty.
I do it by entering the doubtful folder, or by pointing the cursor on the doubtful folder icon, waiting for the TOOLTIP to be displayed saying it is empty.

Is there a solution exists?
Is it possible to do a special icon to an empty folders? Or Alternatively, in the Dialog-Box of the deletion - The question will be: Are you sure to delete empty folder?

This is a nice idea to identify empty folders without going inside them or viewing their properties. But from a technical perspective, I don't know if it's possible to have an overlay icon for empty folders without affecting performance, only Ivo can answer that.

Thanks for your feedback. So we'll wait for Ivo answer.
In any case, the alternative solution does not seem that affects performance.

It is not possible to dynamically change the folder icons. Adding overlays is possible, however it is a lot of work for very little payoff. Besides, overlays are a precious resource. You only get 15 in the entire system.

What about the alternative:
To specify "Empty" in Dialog?

This dialog is part of Windows and not Classic Shell.

There is sometimes a tooltip apearing after some seconds saying it is Empty Folder. Can you:
1. Enable it will be apear always when pointing/selected ?
2. To do this it will be displayed immediately when pointing/selected ?

Status Bar
3. What about to add it to details in Status bar ?
