In Classic Explorer 4.0.2 the default icon set was expanded (thank-you, Ivo). However, it was not expanded completely. Therefore, the icons I am trying to find would be for ...

As before, I am looking for the Windows 7 standard icons for these functions, and not for something exotic, as may exist for Invert Selection, which has no icon I'm able to find in the W7 base system.

Any pointers to standard icon sets will be greatly appreciated.

Windows 7 doesn't have icons for those but Windows 8's Ribbon does have for many commands. Classic Shell doesn't have its own icons, but uses the ones from Windows. There are no icons in Windows for back/forward, those are images. You need to download icons from somewhere or make your own, and then add them to the toolbar.
