So the new start button in windows 8.1 has a very cute animation and happens to look quite nice. I was wondering if it would be possible to set classicshell's start button to be the native 8.1 one in classicshell 4.0. The animation can't be manually copied over (say by taking a bunch of screen caps) directly since classicshell's start buttons only allow for three states. Thanks! |

Oh, sorry, this was implemented in a later version of 3.9.0 than I was using. I just updated and now it works! |

The latest version 3.9.1 can use the native Windows 8.1 button. There is currently a bug that crashes on Windows 8.1 for some people. You can try it, and if it doesn't work for you then revert to 3.9.0. A new versions that fixes the crash is in the works. |
