Many thanks for your help!Many thanks for your help!hi, sorry to be a pain, I have just installed classic shell on a new laptop - it worked fine on my old one and I am very impressed.
I've set up settings main menu tab for recent programs, and right click taskbar/properties/jumplists, ticked store both, but the taskbar jumplists dont seem to be working properly, can't find any options for recent items/folders?:
1. right-click wordpad, acrobat taskbar icons don't show any recent documents (can pin by dragging from explorer), they do show in the start menu recent items though! (This has resolved somehow, I don't know how.)
2. Right-click IE, explorer don't show recent, only frequent. I want recent, I can pin frequent if I want them!
3. I can't drag a web page shortcut to the iE taskbar jumplist from the address bar in ie. But can drag a folder from explorer address bar to explorer taskbar jump list.
Is there some simple answer to these? Many thanks for your help.

Every program is in charge of its own jumplist. The start menu simply displays it.
