Hi Classic Shell Developer, First of all, I wish to offer my profuse compliments for creating an exceptionally excellent utility. I have never experienced any bugs in any previous minor version of 3.x.x. However, the Start Menu in v3.6.5 is not opening too well. It takes several clicks to get it to open. Sometimes there is a long delay before it opens. However, this issue usually only occurs after a cold or warm boot: that is, the issue mostly occurs when I open Start Menu for the first time after reaching desktop. After the Start Menu finally opens for the first time after a fresh boot, the Menu usually becomes very responsive and stable. My PC is Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64. My PC is rated 7.4 by Windows. The main new feature introduced in the last few versions is the jumplists. See if disabling it will speed things up for you. The setting is in the middle of the General Behavior tab. |
