I am using Windows 8.1 and CS 4.3.0. When I turn on my computer the start button does not always appear (I would say it appears in 50% cases) while ClassicStartMenu.exe process always visible in task manager. Instead of CS start button I see the Windows standard start button that leads to Start Screen. |

Do you have another start menu software installed, or maybe some incompatible customizations to your taskbar? |

Also a Quick Launch panel enabled (by Windows native means). Desktop and taskbar run in separate processes. It seems the problem appeared after some updates to Windows, did not encounter it before. |

Do you have any custom theme or patch installed that mods any system files? |

No patches related to the taskbar. |
