Post subject:  User picture still visible (whereas it should not)

Hi there !

First of all, thanks for everything, I just heard of Classic Shell and this is such an amazing tool !

I tried to remove the user picture, but I couldn't manage to do it successfully.

Specs :

Dell XPS 13
Upgraded to Windows 10 (From windows 8 - factory)

What I want:

1) I want to remove the user picture in Windows Start Menu
2) I want to remove the user picture in Windows Logon screen

What I did :

I downloaded Classic Start Menu 4.2.5 and I unchecked the following box :

Results:

1) I still have the default avatar picture at logon screen.
Unfortunately screen shot doesn't work at logon screen...
Basically I still have the pictogram with grey background / white guy

2) I have a "black" picture on start menu.
I dont know why...

Any help appreciated, thanks a lot !

PS :

I forgot to say that the current user picture is the default user picture.

May be IMPORTANT :
I changed it a few times.
I tried a full transparent PNG, which did not work, in this situation the picture is not transparent but FULL BLACK.
This can explain why I have a full black picture on start menu.

Classic Start Menu has its own "User picture" setting on the General Behavior tab of Settings. If you have customized it but the file no longer exists then it can show a black picture. Right click that setting and choose "Set default". Then the default user picture will be shown.

There was a bug related to the user picture frame showing in Classic Shell 4.2.5 skins on high DPI displays. Download the latest beta from http://www.classicshell.net. Then when you uncheck it on the "Skins" tab, the user picture will be hidden. It will be hidden only in the Start menu, not anywhere else in Windows.

Using Classic Shell it isn't possible as it affects only the Start Menu.

There is a way to remove a specific user picture if you have set one but Windows will show the default picture on the logon screen. Here is how: http://winaero.com/blog/hide-your-email-and-user-name-from-windows-10-lock-screen/

Is there a way to delete the old user picture rather than just hiding it? The original image has been deleted but the old image still shows up on the start menu if "Show User Picture" is selected in Settings/Skins tab.
