Another case of this not working in newer Windows 10 builds has been reported. Thanks for reporting. Kindly wait till RTM for Windows 10 issues to be ironed out.

When you say "works only once" do you mean once per login?

Does Run work from other places, like the Win+X menu and the Win+R shortcut?

Try exiting the menu (right-click on the Start button -> Exit). Then run ClassicStartMenu.exe. Does Run work again, even if it is only once?

Try running "ClassicStartMenu.exe -nohook" and then click on the Run item. Does it work every time?

GauravK@: You're welcome. Win10 RTM will be compiled in 09.07 and released 29.07. I'm aware that Preview builds may cause issues. Also 'Explorer settings' don't replace copy conflicts windows etc.

Ivo@: When I say "works only once" it works only once when it wants to. I deleted 'Run' item, added it back and it worked once. Then I deleted and bring it back again and this time didn't work even for a first time.
I'll log off soon and report back, but only if 'Run' will work when log-in again.

Yes, it works for both Win+X and Win+R cases.

ClassicStartMenu.exe -nohook seems to work every time.

Don't use the -nohook parameter. It is only for troubleshooting, not everyday use.

Classic Explorer does not replace copy dialogs on any OS except Windows 7.

Ok, thanks.
Run item still does not work. CS 4.2.3 RC, clean Win10 10240 RTM x64 Pro EN installation

Seems to be solved with CS 4.2.4 release
