You can type 'small' into the search box, but it doesn't locate the 'small icons' button under the Skin tab in classic start menu settings.

BTW an "apply" button for the settings window would be great - would mean we can actually test settings, tweak them, test them rather than tweak them, close settings window, test settings, find settings launcher, launch settings again.

The skin settings are not searchable because they come from the skin itself (which is a DLL file with a skin extension) and not the settings system.

You don't need Apply. All settings are immediate (with few exceptions) and you can try the start menu as soon as you change a setting.
