Had the program working fine but then for some reason it stopped (Explorer crashes and restarts when click on Start Menu). Have tried installing and reinstalling. Both stable and beta releases. Even tried manually deleting leftover files and registry entries after uninstall before reboot and reinstalling. Looks like it is getting stuck looking for newly installed programs while trying to read the timestamp of some EXE file. If this problem started recently, a likely cause is that the drive where the EXE is located is getting corrupted. Run a disk checker. Unfortunately with a minidump like this I can't tell you the path to the EXE and which drive it is on. You may also try disabling the feature by unchecking "Highlight newly installed programs" in the General Behavior tab in the settings. |

Can it be because the device is a WIMBoot tablet? Meaning the OS is running from a WIM file: http://www.howtogeek.com/196416/wimboot ... -gb-drive/ |
