I have been running Classic Shell for 3 days, however I get a pop up very regularly from McAfee to warn that= Classic Shell is a High Risk and has been BLOCKED. Advice please! |

Uninstall McAfee and use another anti-malware if you want to use Classic Shell. McAfee is being stupid, it's a false positive probably because Classic Shell's installer uses compression to reduce its size or maybe McAfee is using reputation-based method to false assume that it is dangerous. Classic Shell does not do anything malicious, it only adds a Start Menu and functionality to Explorer and IE. |

Does it complain about the installer or about a particular already installed component? Can you give me the file name that is identified as risky? |
