Classic Shell Button (CSB) does not Close it's open MENU window. My menu simply remains or redraws itself once it has been opened by touching CSB button and I touch it again. I would expect first touch to open menu and second touch to hide menu. I have to touch outside the classic shell menu. |

What version of Classic Shell are you using? What version of Windows? And what start button? |

Ivo wrote: What version of Classic Shell are you using? What version of Windows? And what start button? Classic Shell 4.0 Windows 8.1 RTM Start button: I left option to REPLACE start button unchecked. I see the Windows 8.1 default start button. I click this one and it activates the Classic Shell Menu. This button does not hide the Classic Shell Menu when clicked again. Behavior is normal when I REPLACE the windows default icon, meaning, clicking the REPLACED START BUTTON once brings up Classic Shell Menu and clicking again HIDES the Classic Shell Menu. Thank you. |

Earlier you said touch? Do you mean you are using a touchscreen? Or clicking with the mouse? Do you have other Start Menu software running maybe? With the default Windows 8.1 Start button, for everyone else including myself, the menu closes perfectly. |

Yes, I refer to touch screen Icon works perfectly with a mouse, it is only when I use touch screen. Works fine if I REPLACE icon. Also, I use virtual mouse but I disabled it and still same. Mouse software from http://www.lovesummertrue.com/touchmousepointer/en-us/ . |

Try Classic Shell 4.0.6. The Start button now supports touch and you can also scroll single-column menus with a finger. You can increase the size of icons from the Menu Look tab in Settings if you want. |
