Running 3.9.5 on win8 x64, i have a custom start menu icon.
I run mstsc (microsoft terminal services client) and connect to a server. My custom start menu icon is shown on top of the terminal services window. This didn't happen on 3.6.8, though on that version i didn't use a custom icon (i don't think the bug is caused by using a custom icon, but i could be wrong)

Can you post a screenshot? What happens to the taskbar at that time?

You mean your client OS is Windows 8 x64. But which OS is the server running? Windows Server 2012 R2/2012/2008 R2?

client os win8 x64. remote os is win 2008. however, i rebooted and haven't experienced the same bug again.
if i experience it again i will post back
