when i installed the csm3.9.0 beta (classic start menu) wmi tools (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=24045) asked to reinstall them and then was giving an error when I tried to install them by its installer (while the csm was not reacting on mouse clicks etc!)
so the csm was not responding while the wmi tools installer was failing
) csm restarted - wmi popped up, failed the installation, csm restarted, wmi popped up, failed the installation and again... a vicious circle!here's the solution:
- kill the csm process and let wmi installer fail and close itself
- extract the installer with 7z (or other archiver)
- Install WMI by Setup.Exe (Not the default installer WMITools.msi - it gives errors and fails!)
