Yes indeed even XP despite its long life got only 3 IEs.
I guess there will be an outrage of IE11 didn't support Windows 7.

ie 11 is coming not just for windows 8 but for windows 7 also. what is suprising about it is that windows 7 has broken the tradition that every window has three versions of ie. |

That is why you use alternatives  Firefox v1 to v22 will work on XP |
