It started today, I was browsing through Gmail, and then I saw a random email address saved. I contacted the person on Hangouts. He said some pretty interesting stuff. He said I offered him 20 dollars on Discord. 1 : I am broke 2 : I am greedy 3 : Why would I share my email on Discord? There would be no way I would offer anyone even 1 dollar. I think my account, well one or two words. Has this ever happened to you? |

Doesn't really sound like a run-of-the-mill scam, especially if he isn't offering anything in return. You could always question him further, like asking him why he thinks you would have offered him $20. also If the email address was saved; it may be someone you actually have talked to in the past. (perhaps distant past). it is unlikely he added himself magically to your favorites list (unless you mean he just sent you an email and you responded to it) You could also inquire if he actually even knows your name on discord. (though this might be easy to find if its similar to your email; or if its the email used to sign up for discord, (since trying to create a new discord with the in-use email might display an error message including the current discord account) |
