Classic Shell: Forum

I would love to find a classic shell program that will help me make one simple modification for Windows 10--I want to make the icons in the taskbar larger. More specifically, make the program icon itself larger, and eliminate some of that black space. Not sure what genius at MS said the current design is the best. The black space has to be over 50% of the overall space designated for the icon.

I am a Windows enthusiast and helped a little with Classic Shell's testing and usability/UX feedback.

Excellent. That restores the icons to the size that they were in earlier versions of Windows.

You know, I understand the benefits of a more recent OS from the standpoint of security, but the UI of each version of Windows seems to need more and more tweaking. I honestly don't know why they decided small icons were the only option.

OK. Thanks for linking to that utility, I'd never heard of it. I think between Classic Shell and that, I should be good to go.
