For me, it puts the icing on the cake. :)

I guess there are multiple ways of removing text and just leaving the icons.

Well, I'm pretty much happy with the Clasic Start Menu,(CSM).
It's higher than 99.99% acceptable. Very few bugs.
Time to donate some money for Ivo's gas tank and put some grub on his table.
The deed is done. It felt good.:D

I think they are called infotips. Maybe means the same thing.
They display for the shortcuts inside the folders only.
Retried a few times now, after restarting exe. Same.

Right click on Shell button to get small menu, and left click on settings.

Pick Customize Start Menu, and I'm sure you can take it from there.

The Help file, also in small menu, is very informative.

Just want to say, before making drastic changes to the menu, it's a good idea to back it up. Saved me a number of times, when I over modified, and forgot how to put back to normal. Now I have so many of the xml menu backup files, its a shame to delete them, as most are quite good. Still Crazy Though...
