The start button popping on top of video will be fixed in the next version. If you are getting different menus for a mouse click and for a Win key, check the Controls tab in the settings. Make sure both settings are set to the same option. I don't know about the rest - the start button shouldn't be ... |

Sorry, I missed your post about IDT. I don't know what parts of the audio it controls. All I found on the Internet was advice to simply uninstall it: http://tc-itservices.com/microsoft/idt-audio-panel-causes-control-panel-to-crash-in-windows-10/ BTW, this is not a crash just in the start menu. In this case the menu is trying to get the timestamp for a shortcut in the start menu to see if it has changed. That shortcut is probably on a remote machine. See if disabling the settings "Highlight newly installed programs" makes a difference for you. |

The pinned programs are not in the settings, just like the list of installed programs is not in the settings. They are stored in this folder: %APPDATA%\ClassicShell\Pinned |

It uses as much as it needs. If you have a large start menu it will need more memory to store the data. |

You can extract it using a resource editor from the ClassicExplorer32.dll. It is a resource icon with ID 2. |

I downloaded Kodi (the 32-bit installer) and I can't see the problem. How many monitors you have, what's their resolution and scale settings? |

The slowdown seems to be caused by the file C:\Program Files (x86)\NSL\NSCommonHook64.dll. It is probably trying to access a network location and waiting for a response. Possibly related to the user profile being on a remote machine. |

You can remove the Log Off option, go to the Special Items tab and loo for "Show Log Off".
The start menu image in the Style tab is just a sample. The text usually comes from the OS. You can change it from the "Menu caption" setting in the Menu Look tab. |

Often the reason for this problem is that ClassicStartMenu.exe is marked to start as admin. Open its properties and Explorer and look at the Compatibility tab. All options should be turned off. |

If you use the Classic style of the start menu the pinned area will be scrollable. The Windows 7 style doesn't work that way because it replicates the behavior from Windows 7. |

The COM threads issue is not specific to CU. It was also reported with the Anniversary Update. So if you weren't affected by it with AU, and you don't care about texturing the taskbar, then 4.3.0 will work fine for you. |
