Hi Splitwirez. I don't know about the edges. Tried alpha, fullalpha, the outside glass part looks ok on Win8. Tried on Win7, still ok. Alpha makes the smoothest transition, but there will be an odd looking shadow at bottom right corner, if shadow enabled. Just make that corner square like most menu...

I've seen it, Personally i'm all about function and don't care if something looks exactly like it did on a different OS. But i know quite a few people who post on the forums do strive for 'exactly how it looked in X' to the extent of custom themes and such, who will likely love some of your skins. ...

There's an option to not replace the Start button at all. That would give you the standard orb back without having to close classic shell.
