Mostly likely, your IE addons aren't enabled. Try the steps in the FAQ and restart IE: http://classicshell.net/faq/#ie9_caption . All Classic Shell related addons will have to be enabled in 'Manage addons' dialog.

Yes, AMM is also extremely good. It's very fast and has that cool feature to bring all windows automatically to the monitor where the mouse pointer is when the windows are created/appear.

Hmm I tried Start8 and it works both ways as you say. Win+Shift/Win+Ctrl works just as well as Shift+Win/Ctrl+Win.

That is the way modifier keys (Shift, Ctrl, Alt) work everywhere in Windows as far as I know. Modifier key is always supposed to be pressed earlier.

Translating and maintaining the website in multiple languages will be a huge burden always. Unnecessary IMHO. Enough people understand English globally to understand what Classic Shell is.

In Windows 8, the Up button next to Back/Forward buttons is added by Microsoft so Classic Shell doesn't add it. But you can use the "Up" button from the Explorer Toolbar. That will open the parent folder in a new window with Ctrl+Up clicked.

Nope I meant if Ivo will update CS's glass to more closely match taskbar color. I didn't mean you have to modify the skin. :) Compared to Start8, the color doesn't match if the color intensity is reduced.

So on Windows 7, you can set Winkey to open Windows Start Menu if you need to search files and set mouse click to open Classic Shell's Start Menu. Or Shift+Winkey to open Windows Start Menu and regular Winkey to open Classic Start Menu.

Btw, note that even if it worked, this scenario is not a supported one of upgrading Windows. It's better to uninstall Classic Shell and reinstall it again so the OS-specific components are installed and OS-specific defaults too.

Yes, so you can use the same trick to move to the right. Open any folder like Control Panel, unlock and move it to the right along the same row as the menu bar and lock it again. Thereafter for Ribbon-enabled folders, it will stay on the right.
