yea i wasnt quite sure which to put it in, just figured since the skin is explorer related it might fit a little better... i mean it brings back functionality (better button visibility, and such) to the explorer.. although not directly classic shell , its somewhat aligned with its goals |

the difference is simply how its coded, with eyefinity if you open a fullscreen app it will stretch across all the screens, or if you maximize a window it will stretch across all screens the taskbar should stretch across all, unless amd does something specific to prevent this from happening.. basica... |

what happens if you right click taskbar and select properties and check show taskbar on all displays does this atleast give you 3 start buttons that open on the same screen as the button?
its not a true fix, but it might help as a temporary fix (or if you end up liking taskbars on all displays) |

im guessing you have windows 7?, right click desktop, go to screen resolution.... and make your center monitor the primary display, that will move the taskbar and the start button to that display |

personally, even if i find cascading style to be superior to inline, though it is still an option i would heavily conciser adding IF i were the developer (but im not) They both have advantages and disadvantages, and in the end it is a preference issue.. classic shell was designed to make windows 8/7... |

you mean like the right click context, except for the classic explorer toolbar, i believe there is a way, im just not sure offhand, but it probably involves creating a .bat file and passing it the directory from classic shell... |

Gimp will work you just have to click export.... rather than overwrite XXXXXX.bmp then click compatiblity options, check "Do not write color space information" then click Advanced options and click the 32 bits radio box that says A8R8G8B8 then click export this has to be repeated every tim... |

and heres a more minimalistic screenshot of how i got it setup ( i use it personally and its fairly stable/customizable) Note: some of the buttons i have on my command bar aswell as in classic shell, but thats because im in the process of modifying my command bar when i get the time |

asfar as actually adding them to classic shell, that may get tricky unless the actual artist is posting them, they cant be sure if there legal to use... but as far as a repository here for those icons, sounds good, and if it gets big enough they might add a forum catagory for it |

nothing really, just install it, its free for commercial use, i think if your not modifying the source code anythings game (i could be wrong about some other parts, like maybe you cant try to sell it but idk, and im sure an installation fee is different than selling, in your case) |

thats odd, i dont even think mine started slower, but i think that i may have updated classic shell right around the same time which probably erased the problem before i had a chance to see it (i gave metro screen a chance.. XD) |

i did a full upgrade from w7 ult to w8 pro; keeping classic shell installed and it worked fine for me it makes me sad that they just ditched most of the 'ultimate' features, since they decided not to make an ultimate version, they should have just included them in pro |

by factory you mean?, what brand/model; most company's add bloatware in addition to drivers specific to their product, i wouldn't doubt if there bundling something with a setting that defaults to skip metro if you installed the operating system from a disk; then you likely have a clean image directl... |

personally i kinda like it, although it could have been designed better.., windows really lacks when it comes to detecting similar files.. (not just files with the same name) the first fix would be adding a keep both button and a checkbox "Include perfect Matches" - which defaults checked;... |

if its auto-hiding you should be able to get it to pop up by moving your mouse to the very bottom of the screen for a second to remove autohide: right click the taskbar, select properties, and uncheck "auto-hide" if its checked if this doesnt work, then its likely another program interferi... |

minimizing itself is still not silent, it should at the very least minimize to the system tray.. if not completely invisible (without the program being clicked, to change settings)

the new topic button is on every post yes, its anoying and accidentally gets clicked when u try to reply :P, but its not something that can be easily taken care of as for a list of shortcuts, i didnt know classic explorer even had shortcuts? if you mean ctrl+x,ctrl+v, those are windows shortcuts how... |
