Thanks Ivo. I had already tried uninstalling and installing Classic Shell, but the same thing happens. (Note that I also tried wiping the disk and doing a factory reinstall of windows 8.1 and Classic Shell as well as reinstalling Classic Shell on the same installation-twice. Same result. Perhaps it ...

I recently obtained a new computer with windows 8.1 on it and installed all updates. I installed some software and the progress bar worked as it does on older versions of windows. I then Installed the latest version of classic shell (downloaded last week). Ever since then the progress bars on any so...
