is there a way to control the apps that are listed in Classic Shell start menu? it is listing uninstalled apps.

Why does the program file menu show folders in either white or orange? What does it mean? How can I get consistent coloring (white menus)?

The search tool for this forum does not work worth a damn, so I could not see whether this topic had already been covered.
