What if there was some kind of table made up that shows for each grey menu bitmap brightness 0 to 128, matched up to the red color mask hex number/bit amount , to roughly match with the taskbar color... |

| I mean an option to be able to apply a setting only if classic start menu is running on a particular windows version. something like that: [WIN7] ... [NOT WIN7] ... [WIN8] ... [NOT WIN8] ... it may be usefull for example to disable glow under windows 8 enad leave it enabled on windows 7. |

I'm trying to customize a skin and i've extracted all the resources in the skins folder and named like this:
1.txt
1.bmp
2.bmp
...
...
...
When i select the custom skin in classic menu i can see al settings but the bmps are not loaded.
What is wrong ?
P.S. I'm using classic shell 4.20 beta |
