Gotta love how Microsoft makes everything so difficult. Hiding the annoying tiles and Cortana wasn't too bad, but now I have to click twice to get all programs to open.

Is there a way to fix this?

I don't know if this is a problem with the shell or the OS, but I use a solid black background. But when I open Windows Explorer or the start menu, the text and the lines are white, but the background is black. It kind of has a transparent look. I hate it.

Any suggestions?

After installing the shell I find that the text on the right side of the Start Menu is almost transparent - Control Panel, Documents, etc.

Any suggestions?
