When opening explorer folders, frequently the selected folder is out of view in the folder pane. I suspect this is unfixable, but if it can be automatically scrolled to show the current folder in the view whenever the file pane view changes, that would be cool. This should be possible with the information you can get from this blog post (same post is also here). Code is .vbs, but I would think that the same APIs should be available in C++, though the only thing I can find is this wrapper from 2006.
