I've just worked out what it is! The issue is if you put the mouse right in the bottom left corner of the start button - so you can't even see it basically. When you have a App open and then left click on the Windows Icon (Start Button) it takes you to the Metro Start Screen, rather than the Classic Shell Start Menu - Is there a way to stop this?
