I know about pinned recents. Sometimes i can see more recent programs but it seems classic shell doesn't have much memory because soon or later the oldest recent disappear.

I wont start new topic.
I use menu with 2 columns and i set max recent programs to 30 or 20 but menu contains only 15 of them. Look at the picture.
I use version 4.1.0
Any suggestion?

Let me ask here for win 8.1 appearance help. How can i change menu lines' height? I changed menu size and menu font but there's still much empty space between lines. Cnanging MenuHeight in WindowsMetrics register had no effect.

Display settings in windows 8.1 let us to change only font size for icons, title bars, menus etc but not fonts. Well, i found a way to change fonts too, go to register HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics. I wonder if classic shell's workers could create a program with graphic user ...

Never mind, classic shell's start menu is still better that win 8.1's start screen and apps screen.

Well, then move this topic to folder Feature requests.
Another wish: when i open e.g. docx file, Office Word should appear in recent/frequent list.

I have windows 8.1.
So there's no way in the classic shell to see a program in recent/frequent list if i run a program only through desktop? Win XP shows a program in recent/frequent list in start menu if i run program through desktop shortcut.

Sorry if such topic already exists. I have classic shell version 4.1.0. I have 2 columns start menu and enabled show frequent programs. But a program appears in frequent programs list only if it's run it via start menu > programs. Running a program with start menu>programs link via desktop or explor...
