@Ivo - indeed I have already upgraded and noticed a plethora of apps in my programs menu.

Thanks all maybe I'm developing some form of OCD. Will see what happens when Win 8.1 comes along.

Apps like Store and PC settings have migrated to the top level of the program menu. Is there a way to get them back to the app menu? Windows 8 Pro, Classic Start menu 3.6.8. Have tried dragging and dropping but doesnt appear to work.

Interesting. I have 1.5gb free according to task manager and plenty disk space. Are these the resources you are referring to?

Trying to diagnose a problem with Win 8 Pro tray icons (hidden). Only thing I can think of is possibly Classic Shell (Have not installed Classic Explorer or Classic IE 9) may have changed something which maybe a bit of a long shot. Does CS affect any of the explorer functions to do with the tray or ...
