thanks for answering. i don't really know what you mean by 'clearing the settings in the sounds tab'. my windows is french, as i am. so i go in 'sounds' and do this :

apparently it doesn't work. and the clicks are still present.

hello. first off, congrats on the product. i have windows 7. the settings for windows 'sound' are set on 'no sound'. not even the start up sound. i can't stand them. anyway. it seems that by installing my beloved classic shell these settings are perturbed, as there are definitely sounds accompanying...
