Good guess! By disabling only Classic Explorer and leaving everything else enabled, PSP works fine.

When Classic Shell 4.0.0 or later is installed, Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 will not start, nor can it be installed. PSP hangs right at the spot where it should display its splash screen. The problem disappears as soon as Classic Shell is uninstalled. The problem does not occur with any of the v3 ...
