Yes, I would definitively be interested in a paid version too - even if it is released "as a service"! :D

Thank you juniper7 for your kind response. I tried the wider file and it's indeed better in a horizontal taskbar, although in a vertical one it seems there's no difference. It probably requires a different kind of edit. I was hoping Classic Shell would be able to tackle this globally, for all button...

I have noticed that many (most?) of the available custom buttons, are placed very close to the edge of the taskbar/screen (button size setting is irrelevant), and it does not look very good compared to the default button position. I am not sure what causes this - I know this can be edited but it has...

This isn't very easy to describe, but here goes. In comparison with Windows 8.x, when I press the Start button right after the startup sequence (boot-up) is complete and the PC is ready for use, Classic Start Menu is slow to react. The button will look "pressed" for 5-10 seconds and then t...

Nothing wrong, it's just further away from the Win key than Ctrl/Alt in my keyboard (another row and farther to the left) and pressing Shift+Win is a bit awkward. Not a big deal of course. Ctrl/Alt are adjacent to Win and you can even press Ctrl/Alt+Win together with one finger. :P

Nice comparison and Classic Shell excels. One thing I like with SiB is that it can keep only Apps on the Start Screen, removing all the clutter. Is that possible with CS?
