I tried that. If I enable the Taskbar option "When I sign in or close all apps on a screen, go to the Desktop instead of Start" then my system will boot to the Desktop (as it should). If I uncheck that option my system will boot to the Metro START screen (as it should) and switch to the de...

That option is not checked.

not sure if this is a bug but I want to boot to windows start screen not desktop and got it setup that way. However when classic shell starts it goes automatically to the desktop when it loads. Since it is a preference setting in classic shell I would prefer not to go to desktop on load unless it's ...
