Thank you very much. It was driving me nuts!! Like I said, I like a VERY minimalist start menu.

It's right at the top of the start menu. If I open the classic shell settings (explorer or start menu), a link appears. If I open office word, a link appears. I can get rid of them by clearing recent items list.....until the next document, when the list starts again.

Hi guys, new to classic shell. I like a VERY minimalist start menu, and classic shell fits the requirements just nicely.
